Dr. Gold's main practice is exotics and wildlife. While he doesn't see a lot of degus or chins, he does see them and knows a lot about them. He sees all sorts of exotics from small mamals to birds. He is able and has an incredible track record of doing surgery on small mammals, especially spaying and nutering, and even performing hard surgeries (aka removing a gerbils eye).

While she isn't the only exotic vet at the clinic (there are two others, both female), when one of my degus had a pinched nerve in one of his hind legs, she took a look at him and prescribed some Pred (I forget the full name of the medicine) and his leg healed in no time.

I have ten Degus at current and he has seen all of them at one point or another. He has diagnosed and cured respiratory infection, and the extreme constipation of one of my Degus. Although their was nothing he could do, he has also diagnosed and helped comfort one of my Degus which was dying of organ failure. Also he has amputated part of the tail of one of my Degus. He is skilled in all areas of small animal medical needs, and I would always strongly recommend him.

Lady Doctor who specializes in small animals - Dr. Prus neutered my little boy degu for $80, this enabled me to rescue 3 little girl degus from the Surrey SPCA and not have more little ones. Dr. Prus has also helped my degus with eye infections. Whenever I go to her clinic people are bringing in pets from rabbits to lizards.

Dr Tremblay treated my degus for a long time. She is caring and knows a lot about these little creatures. She did a abdominal surgery on Watson. He had a big mass that turned out to be a big abcess. He recovered well even if it was a very difficult surgery on him.

I phoned loads of vets to get my male degu (Ben) neutered. They all said no, we don't neuter degus. Then I phoned the above vet and he said bring him in and he would have a look. He did the operation and it was a great success. It cost me £36, but was worth every penny. (Pauline Badams)

They have a doctor who helped me couple times with degus, he also sterilised my two male degus (who are ok). They are good in helping animals and you can phone them afterwards and ask them questions and they tell you how to take care of them. They also inform you about the risk if they have to send them to sleep.
